Financování amatérského sportu z veřejných fondů na místní úrovni

Abstract

Objectiv of this work is finding out what are the sources of funding for sports center at the local level. The first part are characterized basic concepts necessary to understand the problems of financing sport, law regulating the sport in the Czech Republic and in the European Union, leading organizations receiving grants for clubs and the volunteers who are indispensable part of organizations at the local level. Another part describes the sources from which flow revenues to the organizations and financing models. For better understanding we have analyzed sport organization at the local level. We found out that the financial support from the state sporting organizations is insufficient and decreasing every year so the organization must rely on revenue from own activities and the private sector. The work highlights the importance of sport as an economic sector that has not a complete functional system.
