Hodnocení efektivního fungování sportovního klubu směrem k udržitelnosti

Abstract

This bachelor thesis evaluates the effective functioning of a selected sports club towards sustainability. The aim was to provide an overview of sports in general, specifically basketball. It focuses on sports clubs, their functioning and the possibilities of financing sports activities. The thesis was elaborated through personal interview and financial analysis derived from financial statements. The practical part focuses on assessing the financial health of the basketball club SBS Ostrava and its sustainable operation. Recommendation was proposed based on the analyses and findings from the practical part to contribute to the more efficient functioning of the club and its long-term sustainability.
