Abstract
This thesis deals with a issue of AC Voltage Convertors in the area of soft run-up of a load to put it differently soft start. The emphasis is laid on using of solving variants for both a single-phase and a three-phase AC voltage converter in relation to a starting of the load. Among mentioned pieces of information there is also more detailed description of these particular variants. On the bases of conducted theoretical analysis of AC soft start converters there is the analysis of standard market accomplished in order to provide a complete view on quality and quantity of commercially available converters.
In addition to this thesis there was carried out the realization of the converter equipped with the range control output voltage and implemented softstart function. This converter function was successfully tried and tested for various electrical appliances and particular graphic representations were written down.
