Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the design and assessment of a steel structure. The introduction provides a brief overview of single-span steel halls. The remaining part focuses on the structural calculation. Three variants of the transverse arrangement of the load-bearing structure were developed, from which one was selected and subsequently elaborated into a 3D model. The middle section discusses the geometry of the 3D model of the structure and the modeling of individual structural elements. This is followed by the static calculation of selected structural elements. The conclusion addresses the design and assessment of selected structural details. The appendix of the bachelor thesis contains the drawing part of the layout solution of the chosen variant of the load-bearing system, along with selected details.
