Problematika odplynění a využití bioplynu na skládce TKO

Abstract

The first part of this work is devoted to legislation and standards related to the landfilling of municipal solid waste (MSW), waste characterization and waste management in Frydek - Mistek. The focus of this part is MSW landfill degassing processes including description of these processes. In the experimental part waste dump of Frydek Mistek a.s. is described, including the phases of the landfill, landfill methods, types of waste and landfill gas recovery. The paper proposes possible solutions of the usage of excess heat, which is obtained from the cogeneration units. One possible solution is to build cost-effective wood drying kiln. But there are other variants of the usage of heat.
