Abstract
The purpose of this diploma thesis was to model the real situation of the night traffic space using different types of car low headlights and luminaires with different sources for road lighting according to the standard ČSN EN 13201. The theoretical part describes the correct procedure for classifying and measuring road lighting. Furthermore, the requirements for automotive low headlights and parameters affecting visibility in the night traffic area are described.
The first part of the practical work contains a description of the modeled situation in the program Dialux 4.13 with different types of low beam headlights. The second part of this diploma thesis includes the optimization of the designed system using public lighting, where two types of luminaires are selected for comparison in combination with a car equipped with different types of low beam headlights. From the situations designed in this way, the horizontal and vertical illuminations of the traffic space at different height levels are calculated. The results of the calculation are commented in the form of a partial evaluation.
