Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with a proposal to improve the shape index (SI) of the final product fraction 4/8 with the use of an existing technology in Opatovice.
It also deals with technical, economic and ecological evaluation of proposed solutions.
The method addresses the changes in secondary cone crusher to achieve the improvement of shape index (Si) in the secondary stage of crushing. Cone crusher HP300 is the most appropriate.
It is adjustment of equipment in order to increase the efficiency and improvement of the shape index (Si) in the secondary stage of crushing, to increase the performance as well as to improve the health and safety in the workplace.
Cone crusher HP300i is designed based on practical knowledge of the quarry operation. The newly proposed mechanism is evaluated according to experience in public tender, which was done on the basis of available information.
