Abstract

This Bachelor thesis evaluate ignition temperature changes of two different insulating materials at various rate of contamination by flamable liquid. Definitions and basic terms of self-ignition are explained in the first chapter. Next chapter desribes methods for determination of self-ingnition temperature with focus on Setchkin method for determinig ingnition characteristics. Conclusion comprises ignition temperatures of solid carrier contamined by flamable liquid in comparison to temperatures listed in safety data sheets of particular materials. Following evaluation of dependencies contribute to higher safety of industrial plants.
