Abstract

The main purpose of this thesis is to improve the existing KVADOS company client configuration system. Recent solution uses parameters identified by expressions instead of values and a compiler that translates these expressions using regular expressions. In this thesis the context-free grammar in BNF format was used instead of the regular expressions. Furthermore, according to requirements, the ability for function calls was added into the expressions. To test the process of configuration creation a new system composing of server, client and Web service was built. Server creates and modifies the configurations. Web service distributes these configurations to clients. Clients adjust their behavior to the obtained configuration.
