Metody rekultivace posttěžebních krajin po hlubinné těžbě

Abstract

This thesis presents the basic facts about reclamation, its technologies and other methods such as revitalization or natural restoration. It describes the effect on the territory affected by the extraction of mineral resources, specifically by the deep mining of black coal. As a result of undermining, this area is devastated by subsidence of the terrain, at the same time it is burdened by tailings, sedimentation tailings tanks, various industrial and storage areas. Reclamation is a way of quickly restoring the plant cover, but it is very expensive and in many cases harmful to the biodiversity of the restored areas. In contrast, approaches that are based on the principles of ecological restoration can create much more valuable landscape units and ecosystems, increase biodiversity and improve the possibility of protecting rare species. In other parts, the work deals with recultivation methods for the restoration of land in Europe and evaluates the methods from the point of view of their applicability in Karvina.
