Vybrané místní veřejné služby v Ostravě

Abstract

Local public services are associated with the performance of local governments and increase of the effectiveness of their provision. The bachelor thesis describes ways of ensuring, organizing security, compliance and funding the selected local public services of collection, removal and disposal of municipal waste, care of public greenery and public transport in Ostrava. Further, the thesis evaluates the costs to ensure the urban system and public services, quality standards and their use, also contribution to local residents´ quality of life. The thesis includes graphs, tables, formulas and calculations to compare the data for the period 2010-2014.
