Abstract

Bachelor thesis describing development and contemporary trends used non-ferrous metals and their alloys and also processing waste in automotive. Most often used alloys non-ferrous metal in automotive belongs to alloys aluminum. The first part deal is also characteristic waste and their loading with them at us and in the world. A part of this chapter is also characteristic of chosen material from non-ferrous metals and their alloy. The next part is focuses on possibilities of another usage of these materials from end of life vehicle and then we get to the chapter, which is devoted to laws and legislation in the Czech Republic. In practice part deals material analysis piston from car engine using optical methods.
