Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the creation and management of investment portfolios. The objective of the study is to analyze available financial instruments and, based on these findings, propose optimal investment strategies for two model clients with differing financial goals, ages, and risk profiles. The theoretical section defines fundamental investment principles, the impact of inflation on real purchasing power, and the characteristics of both financial and real assets. The practical part applies financial mathematics methods to the specific cases of two clients: a young dynamic investor and a conservative pre-retirement client. The results of the thesis are portfolios utilizing a combination of equity ETFs, real estate funds, and alternative investments such as gold and cryptocurrencies. Long-term simulations confirm that by maintaining investment discipline and proper asset allocation, it is possible to effectively achieve financial independence and protect wealth from devaluation.
