Absorpce BTX z koksárenského plynu

Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused at describing the process of BTX absorption from coke oven gas into wash oil. The absorption takes place in a counter-current absorption column, where coke oven gas flows from the bottom and is showered by wash oil from the top. The experimental part deals with the creation of a simulation model of the absorption process in AspenPlus software. A balance model of the technology, a model with an extension for the addition of FAME and then for the recycling of wash oil, was created. As a result of this thesis, a comprehensive model describing BTX absorption from coke oven gas was performed. Furthermore, the dependencies of benzene purification efficiency on temperature were developed.
