Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design of modifications to the existing bioremediation site in Stráž pod Ralskem in order to expand its use to other types of materials contaminated with petroleum substances. The work addresses the legislative, technical, and economic aspects of enabling the treatment of wastes beyond those originating from mining activities. The goal is to create a technically and legally compliant facility with the potential for further use of the treated materials, such as in the reclamation of tailings ponds.
