Abstract
Bachelor thesis summarizes the findings about Ti6Al4V alloy, heat and mechanical treatment, properties, forming, welding, machining, molding, biocompatibility and use. In the practical part heat treatment of the supplied Ti6Al4V alloy has been made in argon and hydrogen. Metallographic studies of samples taken from three states: delivered, heat treated in argon, and in hydrogen enabled evaluate the effect of processing on the nature of the microstructure.
