Abstract

Reuse of raw materials is a theme that is associated with a wide area of manufacturing industry. In the production of aerated concrete blocks, a significant proportion of waste is generated due to the rejection of production, which is uselessly transported to the landfill. The work presents a solution of this problem by designing a recipe for the production of thermal insulation boards with remediation effect, including their testing using both simulation calculations and application on real houses. The use of these boards consists in installation on the outside envelope of the building, which is moisture loaded and it is not desirable to install materials with high diffusion resistance (expanded polystyrene). The function of the designed boards has been tested for a long time on real houses exposed to ground moisture, hygroscopic moisture or built-in moisture. On the basis of the measurement, a methodology was proposed which enables to design these measures using numerical two-dimensional computational means in the environment of Czech standards. In the introductory part of the thesis is described the issue of waste treatment, technology for the production of aerated concrete, treatment processes of waste aerated concrete. Further, the mineralogical structure of processed wastes and used binders is clarified. Separate chapter is devoted to used methods of measuring physical mechanical properties and explanation of basic principles of numerical simulation. The experimental part is divided into chapters describing the proposed recipes including tabular and graphical expressions of the measured values. The second part of the experiments is devoted to the description of numerical calculations simulating the course of moisture load of the solved objects after application of the developed material. The last chapter is devoted to verification of proposed materials in technical practice on real construction.
