Analýza účinnosti protipovodňových opatření s využitím hydraulických modelů a GIS

Abstract

The main topic of my diploma thesis is analysis of effectiveness a flood controls through two hydrodynamic models and geographic information systems. The thesis is composed from two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part informs about hydrological terms, which are gist of hydrologic modelling. Next part describes characteristics of hydrologic models, floods, the natural conditions of river basin Olše and used programs. The practical part describes modelling process in chosen program, iterpretation and visualisation of results. At the end are evaluated results with tables and graphs.
