Abstract
This thesis is focused on biodegradable packaging materials and their possible use in everyday life. The first part presents basic information about biodegradable packages, in other parts of the submitted thesis deals with the production technology of biodegradable plastics, the current state of their incorporation into the packaging system in the Czech Republic and in the end also with the suggestions for improving their market position.
