Vliv nanostrukturovaného oxidu neodymitého na klíčivost semen Sinapis Alba

Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on studying the effect of nanostructured neodymium oxide (Nd2O3) on seed germination and primary root growth of Sinapis alba (white mustard, also known as yellow mustard). The aim is to evaluate the potential phytotoxic effects of this nanomaterial and to determine the IC₅₀ value. The biological effects of Nd2O3 were studied using the 72-h seed germination test. The results showed the inhibitory effects of nanostructured Nd2O3 on the growth of the primary root of Sinapis alba. The conclusions of the thesis highlight environmental risks associated with the release of nanostructured oxides of rare earth elements into the environment.
