Abstract

The thesis attempts to prime readers on unconventional electric machines, which are often discussed in the publication in relation to vacuum energy. Chapter 2 tells the story of how such machinery, both economic and environmen-friendly in its very nature, came to people's minds. It also discusses fossil fuels related issues. Chapter 3 sums up the thermodynamics laws. Chapter 4 focuses on interesting the vacuum. The chapter also briefly touches upon the Casimir effect. Chapter 5 focuses on magnetism and its source on the background of the eternal movement of subatomic particles. Chapter 6 lists a number of unconventional electric machines claimed to be able to operate with COP < 1. Chapter 7 is dedicated to feromagnetic materials, potential application in electric machines and measuring hysteretic properties of feromagnetic core samples. Chapter 8 discusses modelling the Adams pulsed motor generator using SolidWorks and electric circuit. Chapter 9 is focus to analysing its magnetostatic properties in Ansys Workbench Chapter 10 is focus to measuring engine load characteristics and determining engine efficiency.
