Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on energy management and remote reading of energy meters. I pay attention to individual energy meters, their division and principle of function. In the next part of the text I describe the communication directives M-BUS, which is used for remote meter reading. The second part of the thesis is concerned with energy management in medical facility. I focus on the particular acts necessary to complete the project. This section serves as a methodology for work of other designers or students who will be tasked with developing a similar project focused on energy management.
