Zhodnocení konkurenceschopnosti podniku ve strojírenském průmyslu

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the competitiveness of the selected company in the engineering industry. The company has an extensive portfolio, which is focused on the production of pressure and non-pressure parts for power plants, components for the industrial sector, and also offers various forms of cooperation, such as bending, screwing, welding and machining of sheets and pipes. Basic concepts of competition and selected methods for assessing competitiveness are defined here. These are PEST analysis, Porter's model of five competitive forces and SWOT analysis. All these methods are applied to the selected company, according to which its situation on the market is subsequently evaluated.
