Podpora rozvoje města Ostravy v rámci regionální politiky EU

Abstract

The bachelor thesis aims to describe the role and operation of the Regional Operational Programme of the Moravian - Silesian Region, its institutional and financial support and also its application to a specific project aimed at the development of culture in the city of Ostrava.

The first part of the thesis deals with the regional policy of the European Union, its specification, tools and goals which are used in its realization. The second part applies regional policy of the European Union to the Regional Operational Programme of the Moravian - Silesian Region in regard to drawing finance from the structural funds. Last part is focused on the specific project aimed at the development of culture which is realized in the city of Ostrava.
