Cirkulární ekonomika pohledem mladé generace

Abstract

The circular economy provides an alternative to the traditional linear model by emphasizing efficient resource use, waste prevention, and the regeneration of natural systems. This bachelor thesis examines how this concept is perceived by the younger generation, particularly members of Generation Z. The theoretical section outlines the key principles of the circular economy, including regenerative design, R-strategies, and related approaches. The empirical section is based on a student questionnaire survey and aims to assess their level of awareness, attitudes, and real-life behaviours related to sustainability. The findings suggest that, despite limited familiarity with technical terminology, most respondents intuitively apply elements of circular thinking in their daily lives.
