Abstract
The main content of the thesis is the design and assessment of the selected parts of steel structure exposed to fire. The single steel hall with the crane runway of capacity of 5 tons was solved in the work. First there was made the design and assessment of basic parts of the hall for normal temperature. There were evaluated the load effects of permanent and variable load and designed the roof structures, columns and main girder for the crane runway. Force action for truss girder, column and restrained steel base were evaluated using Scia Engineer. The requirement of the thesis was to make the fire assessment of the selected part according to EN 1993-1-2. For this report there was chosen previously designed truss girder, whose rods were then assessed for the fire resistance R15 through procedures in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The fire resistence assessment R15 of the entire truss girder was resolved, for comparison, in Scia Engineer. The part of the thesis is a graphic documentation of designed hall, which was made in software Tekla Structures.
