Abstract

This thesis deals with the issues of using LED lights as a lighting of pedestrian crossing. The theoretical part describes basic characterization of pedestrian crossing lights, the principles of functioning of LED lights and other light sources used for pedestrian crossings. The practical part deals in the first section with a design of lighting of chosen pedestrian crossing. This desing has been created in a calculating software Relux pro. Second part is about inspectional measurement and subsequent evaluation of horizontal and vertical illumination accompanied with maintained evenness of illumination for every part of pedestrian crossing. Every measurement and evaluation were accomplished according to regulation TKP 15 amendment 1.
