Abstract

The presented bachelor thesis deals with the fire safety of buildings of mass garages intended for cars, with emphasis on the conditions for parking and charging of electric vehicles. A description of these vehicles with their fire statistics is part of these thesis. The main part of this thesis is devoted to legal regulations and Czech technical standards in the field of fire safety of buildings of mass garages. Furthermore, the selected standards, the proposal for securing the mass garage with fire safety devices, the capture and disposal of contaminated fire extinguishing medium are compared in the thesis. Along with this, other suggestions for improving fire safety are also presented. At the end of the thesis, an actual mass garage is commented on in terms of the current situation in the field of fire safety in buildings and a glimpse into a possible future state.
