Abstract
The bachelor work runs through matter considering a static image compression. It meets basic ideas such as graphics division and its alternative improvement, followed by principles, compresison possilbilities and enumeration of best know compression algorithms and compression formats.Compression formats and their usage described will be demonstrated on particular image models. The content of this bachelor work will be compiled into tutorial portal rubin.vsb.cz with chances of tutorial texts presentation, testing procedure and other possibilities of rubin.vsb.cz portal.
