This baccalaureate work is dedicated to the impact combustions engines to the environment of Ostrava region. Under name Ostrava region is meant City of Ostrava and surroundings It contains both a description and history of internal combustion engines and their fuels and their individual emissions from road transport and technical measures for reducing harmful emissions.
