Abstract
The topic of my thesis is the Marketing strategy of tourism development in Uherské Brod.
In the theoretical part is described the importance and functions of tourism, the preconditions for its emergence, factors affecting development. Here is explained, what is it the destination and why deal with marketing of destination. At the end of the theoretical part is described SWOT analysis.
The practical part contains an analysis and evaluation of tourism in the city. It is dismantled the position, cultural monuments, equipment, material-technical base of the city, the promotion, the city traffic and other factors affecting demand for tourism in the city.
The adopted technique is the SWOT analysis in the analytic part, which is important to create a marketing strategy, I was based of the compilation of the data referred to in the practical part.
