Abstract

This thesis is focused on metallurgical processing of ICDP cast iron, which is used for work layer of centrifugally cast cylinders working at high temperatures. Theoretical part is divided into metallurgical processing of cast irons, manufacture of centrifugally cast cylinders and description of two of the most important materials used for work layer of centrifugally cast cylinders. Practical part is focused on metallurgical processing (inoculate the iron, modification) of batch ICDP cast iron and evaluation of an influence of used elements on a structure and rigidity of newly made ICDP cast iron.
