Studium povrchových vad a jejich členění na bramových předlitcích

Abstract

Diploma thesis is devoted to the study of surface defects and their classification on slabs. It is focused on finding different influences of selected continuous casting parameters affecting on surface quality of continuously cast slabs. The actual work was carried out under conditions of Vítkovice Steel, a.s. company. An evaluation of surface defect was done in period from 2008 to 2014. Given that the continuous casting machine is able to cast wide range of slabs thickness (145; 180; 250 mm) and steel grades, only the steel grade S 355 was selected for evaluation.
