Abstract

The aim of this work is to validate hypothesis about positive impact of economic freedom on economic growth thirty-four member countries OECD for the period 1995-2012. In the thesis are used several methods. The key method for econometric modeling is the regression analysis. Other methods used during elaboration of this work are theoretical-deductive method, descriptive analysis, comparative analysis and correlation analysis. The thesis is divided into five chapters including the introduction and the conclusion. The second chapter is focused on the theoretic specification of economic freedom and economic growth. The third chapter is a literature search of economic freedom and economic growth. The fourth chapter is focused on examining the impact of economic freedom on economic growth in OECD countries using econometric modeling. . Based on the results of an econometric model was ceteris paribus economic confirmed the hypothesis about the positive impact of economic freedom on economic growth.
