Abstract

The subject of the bachelor thesis is The Electronic Delivery in the State Administration Through Data Boxes. The aim of this paper was to evaluate the benefits of establishing data boxes with regard to the expenses incurred for postage in 2008-2012. In the second chapter of the thesis there is generally described public administration and its activities. The third chapter defines the concept of e-Government, public information systems and current projects of eGovernment in the Czech Republic. The data boxes are described in details. The following section deals with the characteristics of the District Social Security Administration in Ostrava, and with the process and analysis of the received and sent mail and the costs of sent mail.
