Abstract

The topic of this bachelor thesis concerns the analysis of burnout syndrome in employees in business services The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis consists of basic concepts, symptoms, stages and treatment of burnout syndrome. The practical part focuses on the analysis of burnout syndrome in employees and whether they are affected by this syndrome. A self-constructed questionnaire was used to find out the identification data, knowledge of burnout syndrome, symptoms and satisfaction in the company. Maslach burnout invetory questionnaire, which was constructed by CH. Maslach, was used to find out the level of burnout. A total of 31 employees participated in the research survey. The results indicated the presence of symptoms of burnout syndrome in some of the respondents, but for that most of the respondents are satisfied in the organization, both with the management of the company and the work team. The dissatisfaction of about half of the employees, however, lay in the feedback from the manager. The results from the MBI questionnaire showed that 26 % of the respondents have high emotional exhaustion, 16 % of the respondents have high depersonalization and 45 % of the individuals have low personal satisfaction. This research investigation did not show the occurrence of burnout syndrome or emergency exhaustion state. Dependencies on gender, age or length of employment were also verified.
