Abstract
Bachelor thesis deals with cretaceous conglomerates of godula development of silesian
unit of Outer Western Carpathians. Main part of this thesis is study of samples collected at
quarry near Janovice near Starý Jičín. Samples were microscoped as rock slices. Selected
samples underwent also RTG diffraction analysis for mineral content. Studied was also
organic content of selected samples. Outcome of this thesis is determination of mineral
content and way of sedimentation of sampled conglomerates based on mentioned analyses.
