Vplyv kultúrnych rozdielov na systém odmeňovania zamestnancov vo vybraných organizáciách

Abstract

The aim of the diploma thesis is to assess the impact of cultural differences on the remuneration system of employees in selected international organizations X and Y. The thesis is divided into several chapters. In the first two chapters we focus on the methods and techniques of processing the presented work, as well as on the theoretical basis of the subject. The next chapter presents the characteristics of the X and Y organizations surveyed, their historical development, their activities in Slovakia and career opportunities. The next part is devoted to direct research. First, we compare the different countries using Hofstede's cultural dimensions, then a questionnaire survey will be carried out and, finally, the results will be consulted with the personnel managers of each company using a semi-structured interview. We interpret and evaluate all the information we find and, in the last part, we will consider suggestions and recommendations to improve the current remuneration system for employees affected by cultural differences.
