Abstract

In this bachelor thesis we will elaborate on how to build from scratch our own minimalistic Linux operating system for Rasperry Pi. At first we will look into Raspberry Pi itself and describe some of its specifications. Consequently we will focus on compilation of the system. For compilation of the source code we will use cross compiler which we also build. At the end we should get two archives with final system. The first will contain only our new system without any additional programs, the second one will contain also GCC compiler for building new programs on Raspberry Pi itself. It will be followed by description how to set up NFS file system for our system in order to enable remote usage.
