Abstract

This bachelor thesis summarizes the basic geological, quality and technological characteristics of the Prachovice limestone deposit. It also describes the method of extraction of the deposit and the subsequent processing of the extracted raw material. The overview of the deposit is complemented by a summary of the individual stages of the exploration of the deposit. The 3D micro-block model of the Prachovice deposit is used here as a basis for the creation of a software solution for selective mining. The main objective of the work is to develop an algorithm and application for updating unmined microblocks of reserves, including identification of currently available microblocks on the surface of the deposit. A secondary objective of the work is the development of an algorithm and application of a prediction model for estimating the chemical composition of the extracted material based on the predicted extraction volume. In the future, selective mining carried out in this way may bring significant economic benefits.
