Analýza nezamestnanosti v Žilinskom kraji

Abstract

Bachelor thesis dedicated to the analysis of unemployment in the Žilina region, which is one of the eight regions of Slovakia. This analysis focuses on the years 2014 - 2016. In this work are defined the main concepts related to the issue of unemployment. Another section is devoted to the characteristics of the Žilina region and its districts. This section briefly mentioned also development during the economic crisis of 2009-2013. The most important part is the analysis of unemployment in selected region. This section includes a comparation of unemployment rates in Slovakia and in Žilina region, compare the unemployment rate of all districts of the region and unemployment rates of men and women in this region. In this analytical section it contained an overview of the various groups of job applicants and prognosis of unemployment.
