Abstract
The content of this thesis is a brief theoretical analysis, design and practical realization of the
low power dynamometer, which is designed for use in teaching vocational subjects taught, Department
of Electronics VSB - TU Ostrava. Theoretical analysis of possible solutions of power converters is
done at the beginning of this thesis, used motor and its management taking into account. Followed by
design and practical implementation of mechanical and electronic components of power dynamometer
utilizing DC motor with permanent magnets, using a microcomputer control system with digital signal
microcontroller MC56F8023. Its software provides speed control loop with a subordinate power look
for the engine of dynamometer, software also provils the control and user communication with the
operator via a terminal program running on a PC through an external D / A converter providing power
waveforms and the speed of the dynamometer engine. The last part of the thesis contains the measured
results with the evaluation of possible use.
