Abstract

This thesis deals with issues of detection of gases in Czech Republic in theoretical part, from the perspective of law and standards. Next chapter names most commonly used detectors. Principle of operation, utilization, pros and cons are listed for each method. Design and construction of device for forming a mixture of a defined concentration is the main aim of this thesis, which is in introduction of experimental part. Furthermore, there are results of initial measurements with sulphur hexafluoride. Photoacoustic laser spectroscopy was used as detection principle. Process and results of these measurements are evaluated in conclusion of this thesis.
