Abstract
The thesis deals with the productivity of the company in terms of the financial management. Main topic is the issue of cost management, profits distributing as well as structure of property and finances of the company STEELTEC.CZ, Ltd. For that purpose the financial analysis for the time period 2009 - 2011 has been prepared based on internal documents. The analysis includes the analysis of the absolute indicators, differential indicators and ratios completed by a comprehensive evaluation index. The SWOT analysis and summary of the finacial position of the company closes the practical part. An integral part of the thesis is a proposal for measures how to optimize costs and alternative recommendation for the future development.
