Proces optimalizace logistických nákladů společnosti UNIPETROL RPA

Abstract

This thesis treats of process of logistic costs optimalization in company UNIPETROL RPA, aimed at plastic materials storage. In the first part is briefly described history of logistics, particular links of logistic chain and costs arising from logistic acitivities. Second part briefly describes interface between logistic and growth in UNIPETROL RPA and division of activities coming under Distribution and Logistic departement. Subsequently identification of narrow spots in logistic process related to plastics materials. Third part treats to concrete steps that had been undetaken in context of company restructuring and intensification of production in phase 2002 and 2006, and which led to cost reduction. For optimal resolution of the present condition and eventual increase of production in years 2012-2014 in UNIPETROL RPA I recommend in the last part some concrete proposals.
