Abstract
In my Bachelor thesis I have focused on an economic analysis of the company Ascendum Stavební stroje Czech Ltd in the period 2010 to 2014. To make the analysis I have used index numbers, such as financial stability, indebtedness, profitability, liquidity and activity.
In the first part of my Bachelor thesis I have concentrated primarily on the description and characterisation of the company, its line of business and philosophy. Subsequently I am describing theoretical bases and index numbers which I have used in the practical part of the thesis.
The second part deals with the economic analysis itself. It includes calculations, charts and a brief interpretation.
