Komparace formátu a efektivity vysílání fotbalové Ligy mistrů na ČT sport a Prima COOL

Abstract

The main goal of my diploma thesis is format and efficiency comparison of the UEFA Champions League broadcasting on ČT Sport and Prima COOL in chosen factors. The first part of thesis defines theoretical framework according to stated literature. Awareness of theoretical part is necessary assumption to proper understanding of the second part of thesis. The analytic part consists of analysis of the Champions League broadcasting on ČT Sport and Prima COOL in three consecutive years based on authors’ theoretical knowledge and practical research. That has been made during authors’ attendance in the production of the show. In the last chapter there is the comparison of differences in format and efficiency of both broadcasters. The final outputs are clearly summarized and author subsequently suggests possible future solutions. Thesis has been written with maximum respect to objectivity and critical judgement. It mainly represents comprehensive summary and comparison of different approaches. Output could be practically used as a significant source of information and background approaches in the Champions League broadcasting.
