Abstract

This thesis examines the influence of technology pickling at bodywork parts which are zinc plating. The main attention was paid to the influence of pickling in hydrochloric acid. The practical section was performed on bodywork part of the Volkswagen Group, which was made of non-alloy quality constructions steel type S235JR + N. This work is focused mainly on the exposure time in the pickling bath and evaluate the effect of the pickling on all important product characteristics such as mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, appearance and other characteristics.
