Abstract
This diploma thesis deals with the process of controlling in a research and development company. The aim was to propose an improvement of the controlling system in a selected development company on the basis of a theoretical definition and its own analysis of controlling activities. The theoretical part described the theoretical and methodological basis prepared of Czech and foreign professional literature. In the practical part, the controlling system in the selected company was described and evaluated. The result of the diploma thesis are proposals for specific measures and indicators that should improve the explanatory ability of controlling in the company.
