Abstract
The main objective of the thesis is to analyse and evaluate the current system of training and development in the energy company and to provide appropriate recommendations for improvement based on the findings. The first part is focused on the description of methods and theoretical background of the issue. The beginning of the practical part is devoted to the introduction of the company. This is followed by an analysis of the current training and development system. The information was obtained through the company's internal documents, the company's own questionnaire survey and an interview with an employee of the company. The final chapters present the findings and specific recommendations.
